Community support for families

Lancashire Community Hubs

Known as ‘community hubs’, they are managed and operated by local authorities with the voluntary, community and faith sector. They offer a range of support including obtaining food parcels, help with shopping, collecting prescriptions, tackling loneliness, financial, debt and housing advice.

Attached are the contacts in each district (1) for any families that may need help, along with details of local food banks (2). The links to each community hub

Keyworker Contact

Every pupil at Hope High has an allocated Keyworker, your child's keyworker will be calling and/or emailing twice a week to ensure all is well. We will be checking if you have enough food and learning materials. We will offer support and guidance to ensure all our families understand the government advice.

We will also be asking if you've been up to anything nice e.g.being in the garden, and directing families to the Hope Post page on the website where we can share things as a community and stay in touch throughout these trying times.
